Wiley Kat passed around 10:45 PM on 9/28/2014 in my loving arms. It’s a pretty big coincidence that it happened to by on my birthday, but I find peace in knowing he held out to spend the day with me and that I’ll always think about him every year while celebrating my own birth.

Wiley was a rescue who was born in October of 2003 and came into my life in early 2004. He was a compasionate, loving kitty who enjoyed spending time with us humans, relaxing indoors and having his belly rubbed. He made an impression on everyone he met with his calm, loving demeanor.

Within his final weeks he continued to be his loving, compassionate self and enjoyed his time left with the help from friends and family.

He was one of a kind and we will certainly miss him dearly. Rest in peace, little guy.
